Now nearly four years into the implementation of this plan, the district is at a checkpoint. “It’s time to re-engage our community to review progress on our Strategic Plan and determine what, if any, adjustments are needed,” said Superintendent Dr. John Kellogg. The first evening entails a large-group meeting to review past progress and gather feedback on current strategic plan components. During the second evening, participants will engage in small-group conversations to delve deeper into feedback obtained in the large group setting. Large-group meetings are set for 7-8:30pm this Tuesday, April 4th, and Wednesday, April 5th. Participants need to attend only one of these meetings at the district’s Early Learning Center (ELC), 936 Eastwind Drive. Small-group meetings will run from 7-8:30pm on April 19th & 20th, at the ELC. Participants will attend only one of these conversations, though they must have attended a large-group session beforehand. For additional details, or to confirm participation in the process, visit www.wcsoh.org. and click the Strategic Plan Review and Revision button. Geared toward students in preschool through 8th grade and their caregivers and families, the event highlights the connection between all the arts and science—with the theme, “Art and Science – Fueling Imagination”. See how crafts transformed from art to engineering & Science, how things work, and learn to work with tools. Westerville Partners for Education organizes this event as an annual opportunity for families to learn together and to develop relationships with community organizations.
