Westerville Parent Council is sponsoring a unique workshop on Homework Challenges, Executive Function Skills and Supporting Students of ALL Ages. Presented by local advocate for individuals with ADHD, Christine Kotik .
Not just for parents and caregivers of students with ADHD - homework challenges and understanding Executive Function skills are important topics for ALL families to understand in order to provide positive support at home.

Summer Activities Expo, 3/9
The annual Summer Activities Expo will be held at Westerville North HS on March 9, 5:30-7:30. This is a free event that is open to everyone in our community. Visitors can learn about the many summer camp and activity options in the Westerville/Columbus area for children. There will be representatives on site that offer programs for preschool and elementary-aged children, as well as middle and high school students and many will offer on-the-spot registration.

In partnership with ThisWeek Community News, and through the support of Education First Credit Union, the WEF is pleased to provide community members with an opportunity to recognize outstanding Westerville City School District teachers through its new Teacher of the Month program.
Teachers chosen to receive this honor will be featured in a full-page advertisement in the ThisWeek Westerville News & Public Opinion. Following a thorough and thoughtful review of nominees, three recipients -- one from the elementary, middle and high school levels -- will be selected each month.
Nominations may be submitted through the WEF website at www.westervilleeducationfoundation.com.
