PTO Restaurant Night - Chop 5 Salad Kitchen on Monday, 11/27
Monday, 11/27, the PTO is partnering with the Chop 5 Salad Kitchen for a Restaurant Night! To participate, show the flier that will be sent home in students' backpacks on Tuesday, 11/22, or you may simply show the attached electronic version of the flier to them when you're paying for your meal. Chop 5 Salad Kitchen will donate 25% back to our school! Please see the flier for additional details. Thank you for your support!
Reminder: Bundle Up for Outdoor Recess!
Now that the cold winter weather has officially arrived, we would just like to remind all parents to ensure that your children are dressed appropriately for recess each day. Outdoor recess will take place daily unless the windchill is 20 degrees or below! Heavy coats, hats, gloves, mittens, etc. will ensure that students are warm and comfortable outside during the winter months. It is also a very good idea to write your child's name in their outdoor gear as well.
Student Directory Now Available
The Student Directory has been completed. Hard copies of the directory are available to be picked up in the office. For privacy purposes, the directory will not be posted online.
Girls on the Run Volunteers Needed for Spring 2018
Girls on the Run (GOTR) is a professionally designed, award-winning program exclusively for girls in grades 3-5. It is much more than a running program. GOTR of Franklin County is a part of an international program that uses the joy of running and an inspiring curriculum to teach girls about self-esteem, positive body image, health and community service.
The Spring 2018 season will start on Monday, March 5th and run THROUGH the week of Monday, May 14th, 2018. The Spring 2018 Girls on the Run 5k will be Sunday, May 20th, 2018.
Coaches are needed for the Spring Season to continue this important program at Fouse! You do not need to be a "runner" to volunteer and all training is provided.
As an incentive, all volunteers will be able to pre-register their daughter before registration opens for everyone else.
Girls on the Run of Central Ohio will continue a lottery registration system for the spring 2018 season. This is the fairest way to conduct registration and alleviates the stress related to signing up at a specific time.
Spring 2018 Lottery Registration period will occur in February, dates and time TBD.
Please see the website for more info:
If you have any questions specific to the program at Fouse, you can contact Sharon Stachecki (GOTR site liaison for Fouse) at email@example.com
