The Walk-a-thon is Fouse Elementary PTO's main fundraiser for the year. Money raised from the 2017 Walk-A-Thon allowed Fouse to initiate the Leader in Me program. This program is Franklin Covey's whole school transformation process that teaches leadership and life skills to students and creates a culture of student empowerment based on the idea that every child can be a leader. In addition to using a portion of this year's donations for ongoing support of the Leader in Me program, the PTO was also able to fund upgraded painting of our playground, supplies/games for indoor play during the cold months, fund field trips and alternative education experiences in the classroom, books for the library, art and general classroom supplies, and so much more to the benefit of our Fouse students.

EXCITING NEWS FOR 2018 Walk a Thon!
We've teamed up with The Get Movin' Crew to make this event even more fun and profitable by adding an online fundraising component. This makes it easy and convenient for distant friends and family to make donations.
To start, we need all parents to complete 3 fast, easy and safe online steps.
1) Register your child by visiting https://www.thegetmovincrew.com/
2) Share your child's fundraising webpage via email to 10-15 friends and family.
3) Post your child's fundraising webpage to social media.
