B Day 5/23 (Mon)….. SuperGames! 5/24 (Tues)….. Last Day of School 5th Grade Posters – Final Call! Attention Fifth Grade Parents!! 5th Grade Posters were due on Friday, May 13. Please bring your child’s poster into the school as soon as possible. If you have questions, you may email Patty Bibbo [email protected]. SUPERGAMES is scheduled for Monday May 23rd. For those of you that may be new to the school, Supergames is an end of the year “field day” with stations that the kids rotate around to in small groups. There are water stations, bounce houses, slides, and so on. Parent volunteers are needed in order to help make this day a success for our children on Monday May 23rd, 2016. Please use this link www.SignUpGenius.com/go/20F0B4DA5AC2BA5F49-fouse to our signup genius to volunteer/identify which shift you are available for. We need approximately 30-35 parent volunteers for each shift (morning and afternoon). Volunteers will meet out front 20 minutes prior to the start of the session. 9am for AM session and 12:25 for PM session. Instructions from the Supergames staff will be given at that time. If it rains, the event will be moved into the gymnasium and a few other rooms within the school building. If it is canceled for any reason, the decision will be made by 7am Monday May 23rd. This promises to be a great day for everyone involved! Thank you for volunteering! Fouse Book Bash, May 17-19 Fouse is currently collecting gently used books appropriate for kids in grades 1-5 for the Fouse Book Bash in May! Bins are located in the library and in the lobby near the main stairs. Drop off one…two…or ten books that you no longer read! Between May 17-19 students will have an opportunity to select a book to take home! Our goal is for every Fouse student to have a “NEW TO THEM” book to start off the summer but we need your help! Please note these grade-specific activities that are scheduled: May 19 - 5th grade concert May 20 - 5th grade pool party at Westerville Rec Center May 23 -Super Games at Fouse May 24 - Last day of school Save the Date! Our annual Fouse Family Picnic is scheduled for Sunday, August 21, 5-7pm. All of our Fouse families are welcome to bring a picnic dinner and your favorite lawn games to the field in front of school to say “Welcome Back” to all of your friends! Teacher of the Month Program In partnership with ThisWeek Community News, and through the support of Education First Credit Union, the WEF is pleased to provide community members with an opportunity to recognize outstanding Westerville City School District teachers through its new Teacher of the Month program. Teachers chosen to receive this honor will be featured in a full-page advertisement in the ThisWeek Westerville News & Public Opinion. Following a thorough and thoughtful review of nominees, three recipients -- one from the elementary, middle and high school levels -- will be selected each month. Nominations may be submitted through the WEF website at www.westervilleeducationfoundation.com. Ways to Support the Fouse PTO… Without Spending Extra! These great programs allow you to support the Fouse PTO while shopping for everyday items…
